What is March RADness Skate A Thon? Every league member is invited to collect pledges and complete as many laps as possible in 30 minutes. Pledges can be a flat amount or “per lap”
Because we have so many skaters, we break them into 2 groups that take turns on the track. Each skater wears a designated helmet cover so it’s easier to spot them on a crowded track. We have Neutral Parties that keep track of every skater’s laps digitally. Tech Sass has set up our website to tally up pledges on a leaderboard, even doing to math on per lap pledges live! There are incentives for skaters to participate and prizes in several categories!
