Summer Season: Celebrity Edition
For our current members (and visiting skaters with recent derby experience), RAJRD is pleased to offer Summer Season: Celebrity Edition!
Hi, I’m Salty. I primarily block & have been skating 10 ish years. You may know me from RCRD (Roc Stars) I also skate with a borderless team, Jewish Roller Derby (where I skate under the name Oy Vey.) This year a friend & teammate started New York Open Gender All Stars & I’m looking forward to my first game with them. In the past, I had the opportunity to skate with Team New York and Pikes Peak Roller Derby in Colorado Springs.
Hi I’m FeFe (she/they) and I’ve been with Roc City Roller Derby since 2017! I’m currently a jammer on the Roc Stars and I play for Team NY All Stars and Team New York Open Gender. Along with playing I coach RCRD’s new skater program and Flour City Fear. While I love jamming and utilizing my past figure skating skills on the track, I’ve been enjoying using powerful hits and strategy as a pivot. Becoming a better blocker has made me a better jammer and vice versa. Who doesn’t love giving a hard hit then zipping away?

Shout out to our Guest Coach from July 9, Jag!
JAG has been playing derby since 2013. She played with Ithaca league of women rollers for 11 years before transferring to Roc City and Flour City Fear. Aside from the local leagues she skates with Fuego Latino Roller Derby, New York All Stars and Team New York Open Gender. JAG plays every position in derby but enjoys pivoting best. Her derby superpower is chest blocking.
