Guest List
A spreadsheet titled “Open Division Playoffs Guest List” has been emailed to the officials and league contacts provided by JRDA. Please ensure that each coach, skater, and their immediate family attending the event have been added to the appropriate tab on the spreadsheet by May 31 (at which time the sheet will be locked, and any guests not included will be expected to pay the standard admission prices).

Each official, event volunteer, coach, and player must have a JRDA athletic waiver, photo release, and consent to treat form signed electronically. You may access the waiver here:

Headshots and Logos:
A link to a google drive folder was sent to each of the teams scheduled to attend. This is a place to put headshots, logos, rosters, or anything else to share with RAJRD.
The videographer has requested headshots for each skater (name the file with the skater’s name and number if they aren’t included on the headshot).
RAJRD will be making souvenir program booklets and each team has been asked to submit 2 pages- one page should feature the rostered skaters, the other page can be anything your team or league can imagine!

Volunteer Information:

Officials should apply through JRDA’s application form:

Is your team bringing a photographer, announcer or bout production volunteer? Have them reach out to to be connected with the right people.

Venue Information:

Track Surface- smooth/polished concrete, there are some patches which have been leveled and covered to provide the required uniform surface. Players tend to use softer wheels (84a-91a).

Seating: Elevated Stadium seating on either side of the track. Bring your own chair for trackside seating in designated areas.

Team Locker Rooms- One pipe and drape area will be designated for each team’s use throughout the entire weekend. Some chairs and a table will be provided in each space. Several small privacy tents will be located discreetly between the designated team areas to serve as changing rooms.

Officials locker room- Officials have the use of a small room with a lockable door. Additionally, an officials lounge area is located on the “Party Deck” behind the stadium seating on the east side of the venue.

MVP Awards
RAJRD will provide one Most Valuable Blocker and one Most Valuable Jammer award per team per game. Each team playing in a given game will decide which skaters from the opposing team will be awarded MVJ and MVB. Each team will tell the announcers their choices before victory lap/high fives, then the announcers will award the MVPs after the victory lap/high fives. Game photos will be taken under the scoreboard after MVPs have been announced.

A concession stand will be operating on site throughout the event. The menu/pricing will be posted ASAP. If you have special dietary restrictions please let Rochester Area Junior Roller Derby know as soon as possible. Officials will receive meal tickets/vouchers to redeem at the concession stand according to their preferences.
Coaches, Skaters, Officials and Volunteers may bring food and beverage for their own consumption in designated areas (such as hospitality or locker room areas).
There is a full grocery store (Wegmans) located in an adjacent parking lot, and many local and chain restaurants that will deliver to “The Dome”

Rust Belt Roller Skates will be attending both days of the event. Kid Ace will be bringing the shop with wheels, gear, bearings, laces, etc. The shop instagram handle is @rustbelt_rollerskates. If skaters have specific gear requests, they can email:
